Ingredients :
- 1 pack of SkyRoots Ragi idli mix
- 1 cup Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)
- 1/2 cup Green peas
- 1/2 cup onions (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Coriander Leaves
- Finely chopped 3 to 4 Green Chillies
- Pinch of Baking Soda
- 1 tablespoon Mustard seeds
- Pinch of asafoetida
- Dry red chilies (2-3)
- 10 Curry leaves
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- Salt, to taste
How to make:
-Take Ragi idli mix in the pot, add 1 cup of soured curd or buttermilk., add salt to taste in batter, and mix well until there are no lumps left.
- Add the peas, onions, green chilies, coriander to the mixture. Mix well to combine and leave aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat a tadka pan, with oil on medium heat, add the mustard seeds, dry red chilies, asafoetida, and curry leaves. Saute for a minute and turn off the flame.
- Add a pinch of Baking soda and pour batter onto greased idli plate.
- Steam them for 15-20 mins. until idlis are done.
- Serve hot with Chutney and sambhar.
